Alaska: Regulator Seeks $300,000 Fine and Handler License Revocation from Illegal #Cannabis Seller

The Alaska Alcohol and Marijuana Control Office (AMCO) is seeking to fine an illegal cannabis delivery firm, ACDC, $300,000, fine 3 drivers $10,000 each, and revoke an owner’s handler license. ACDC advertises a service that delivers cannabis in exchange for donations. The AMCO staff has worked with the police to use undercover buyers that paid cash for marijuana products. The AMCO staff has indicated that these are marijuana transactions that require a formal license. The Marijuana Control Board will address this matter in December.
