New Jersey: Monroe Zoning Board: Approval for Marijuana Processing Facility

PUBLIC NOTICE TOWNSHIP OF MONROE, NEW JERSEY ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT NOTICE OF HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT Courtney Skversky (the "Applicant") is proposing to develop a medical cannabis cultivation, processing and manufacturing facility. Applicant requests use (or d1) variance relief to permit the processing and manufacturing, including industrial processes, of medical cannabis and medical cannabis products on the property and, if required, use variance relief to permit the cultivation of medical cannabis. Applicant will submit for site plan approval after state licensing approvals are obtained.

The property is located at S. Black Horse Pike and 2353 S. Black Horse Pike, Monroe Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey and also identified as Block 8601, Lots 7 and 8 on the tax map for the Township of Monroe. A portion of the property is located in the Rural Development Agricultural (RD-A) District and the remaining portion of the property is in the Regional Growth Commercial (RG-C) District. Applicant also requests any variances, waivers or other relief that the Board deems necessary and/or appropriate. Any persons interested in the application will be given an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing of the Zoning Board of Adjustment to be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 125 Virginia Avenue, Williamstown, New Jersey 08094, on the first floor in the Court Room. At such time, you may appear in person, by agent or attorney, and present any comments with respect to the application. The application, plans and all documents related to the proposed project are available for public inspection prior to the public hearing in the office of the Zoning Board of Adjustment between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Notice is provided pursuant to the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law.
