Massachusetts: Town of Handcock: Proposed Marijuana Moratorium Extension

TOWN OF HANCOCK NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING The Planning Board will hold a public hearing on October 17th, 2018 at 5pm at the Hancock Town Hall, Route 43, Hancock; concerning the proposed Marijuana Moratorium extension to be presented for vote at the Special Town Meeting this fall, date yet to be determined, in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 5, to extend the current expiration date of December 2018 to June 2019 on the amendment to the Zoning Bylaw titled "Town of Hancock Zoning Bylaw dated January 2nd, 2001, amended May 2006 and May 2018" to be titled Section 4 and 4.1 to read as follows: "Section 4: Purpose" "Section 4.1: Temporary Moratorium on Marijuana Retail Sales" A copy of the proposed amended Hancock Zoning Bylaw in regard to Marijuana Retail Sales dated December 28th, 2017, a proposed amendment to the Hancock Zoning Bylaw dated January 2, 2001, amended May 2006 and May 2018, is on file and may be inspected in the office of the Town Clerk between the hours of 9:00 AM and noon, Monday through Friday.
